Integral Being                          A body, Mind and Soul Retreat

The pace of modern life and its challenges are increasing day by day. Success in life includes a satisfying career, material wealth, good health, fulfilling relationships, peace and a zest for life. “Integral Being” is an interactive retreat that introduces you to simple but powerful (non-religious) tools and techniques to lead a healthier, more harmonious and happier life.

Good Health You will be introduced to a set of exercises that you can practice in about 30 minutes that could be easily adopted into your daily life. The exercises are based on Yoga, Pranayama (Yogic Breathing) and Deep Relaxation.

Inner harmony Modern life style has led to unprecedented levels of stress, anxiety and worry. You will have an opportunity to learn easy-to use tools and techniques to effectively manage your physical, mental and emotional stress.

Happiness Happier people are healthier, more successful and more effective in all situations. We focus on “How to Be Happier” with a unique fusion of ancient wisdom and recent scientific results.

In 1987, I was diagnosed with four incurable diseases and the medical opinion indicated that I may not live beyond the age of 50. I am now 69 and enjoy an extraordinary level of wellbeing, thanks to the practical tools and techniques I learned and practice.  In 2007, I quit my professional career in technology field to live in Auroville, where I discovered the purpose of my life in sharing the practical tools and techniques that helped me. I began a new journey in facilitating workshops. Prior to joining Auroville, I had a successful career spanning 38 years across Indian Navy, Academia and Indian industry as well as multinationals in top management positions. I received the Visisht Seva Medal from the President of India for distinguished service in 1984.

Since 2008, more than eight thousand people from thirty four countries attended my retreats/ workshops in Auroville, educational institutions, corporations, USA and Europe. I am a visiting faculty at two of the top business schools in India viz. Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore as well as IIM, Indore, teaching courses and workshops in the area of Personal Growth. I have been touring USA and Europe since 2012, facilitating workshops and retreats in nine countries and look forward to my tour in 2016, for the fifth consecutive year.

Steven de Nie

After a difficult childhood with many fears and my Master degree in Psychology, I realized the mind alone was not able to master stress and anxiety. Therefore I searched for a bridge between mind and body, to integrate conscious treatment with physical stress release. In my quest for a better life for me and my clients, I discovered acupunctural tapping while I visited India in 2005. An American psychologist working as a volunteer in India taught me the basic principles of EFT, Emotional Freedom Techniques. I felt some subtle changes and dived into EFT to master the principle. EFT disrupts the neurological stress circuits permanently and brings peace and calmness most of the time very quickly! Up until today I work with EFT with almost all my clients and from 2006 to now I teach EFT as a tool for therapists and coaches in the Netherlands, Belgium and online.
