The Inner Peace Weekend aims to facilitate positive transformation in personal and moral development. Participants will learn basic “Inner Peace Time” techniques to enrich the quality to experience the peace from within. Supporting for cultivating goodness and virtue within each participant, they will also be encouraged to become future, active, agents-of-change. The weekend program includes:.

  • Meditation and Yoga Sessions
  • Lectures and discussions providing the participants with new skills for non-violent resistance, peace education, enhanced creativity and stress-managemen

The Program module is based on the practice of culturing peace inside, the cultivation of optimism in life, and the acts of self-discipline. Participants will have a chance to explore meditation as a practice which can develop tools to deal with challenges within peace-building and youth work. Throughout the weekend, participants have an opportunity to develop themselves personally, and are also encouraged to put passion for peace into practice by engaging their local communities.
